Carol Woodard has helped thousands of students reach their dreams of becoming successful in the beauty industry—while continuing to inspire the teachers who educate them. Licensed in cosmetology in the state of Texas, Carol has served as executive school director and education director for Ogle Schools. She is the chairperson for the Career Educators Alliance (CEA), where she serves a role in planning annual events, leading a committee of more than 20 people and teaching workshops. Carol is on the board of directors for Private Career Colleges and Schools (PCCS) and serves as education advisor. Her public speaking engagements have gained national attention and she was even featured on Oprah.com as a cosmetology expert. Carol has been published multiple times in BeautyLink magazine. She recently published The Educator’s Diet: Teaching With 21st Century Recipes.
Named employee of the year in both 2002 and 2003, Carol has served as a member of the management core team in addition to instructing students at all levels of their education. As a former grocery store owner, she knows what hard work means and is never afraid to roll up her sleeves and get into the mix. Carol’s love for helping others believe in possibilities was formed after spending time with Zig Ziglar and focusing on the words of Napoleon Hill, “Whatever the mind of man can conceive and believe, it can achieve.”
As a member of the United States Tennis Association, her passion for helping others realize that they can be any and everything they want to be on and off the tennis court has resulted in many lifelong relationships. She is known around the globe from her hometown in Texas to Russia, Sweden, Chile and Australia as “Momma Muffin” by players on the collegiate tennis circuit. In 1975, she married her high school sweetheart, Mark, and is the proud mother of two daughters, Jill and Angie. Carol and Mark are “Mop and Pop” to five beautiful grandchildren and currently live in Burleson, Texas.
Carol assesses and develops training needed for instructional staff, while delivering support material to instructors to aid in implementation. As an educator trainer, she revises curriculum to enhance the learning process for students.
Executive School Director
The executive school director is in charge of overall operations and flow of the school throughout all departments.
Carol trained the instructional staff in technical, leadership and teaching skills. She oversaw the educational process within the school.
Core Management Team
As a member of the corporate core team, Carol worked closely with the founder and CEO of Shelton Ogle Enterprises in the development and facilitation of company policy and procedures.
